"She’s the Cheese!"
Grant Winners’ Stories
February 2009 — Karen Light
When the economy took a downturn, it hit us hard. Our family income was cut in half. As "living conditions" in the corporate environment continued to decline, we realized we needed to do something different! There comes a time when working hard to make money for others just doesn’t inspire anymore! We were tired of making barely enough to meet just the basics for our family.
A desire began to grow in us to create our own business, assisting others in their internet marketing ventures. The "She’s the Cheese" grant was the perfect match. With it, we obtained training and coaching from an experienced internet marketer, learning the business & discovering how our strengths and interests could be most helpful.
We have hope again that we can provide well for our family, and even more importantly, bless others too. We are daring to dream!
April 2009 — Robin Ashley
Mom of four, Robin wanted to have a business from home that would bring in some money for the extras. It’s so stressful to not have enough to pay the bills. She decided that affiliate marketing is more doable than most other businesses for a mom with a full time job. Her "She’s the Cheese!" grant was used to purchase training to sell Clickbank products.
June 2009 — Elisabeth Kuhn
Elisabeth has a growing business as a virtual assistant and copywriter. She needed a new laptop to speed up the work she was doing for clients and offer more services with new software that she needed the better laptop to use.
We’re happy to help you, Elisabeth, to take your business to the next level.
